Pre-press
Imposition, trapping, separations and colour management handled properly.
Print goes wrong in the handover. The designer supplies files in the wrong colour space, the printer adjusts something without telling anyone, the proof is approved on a screen, and eight thousand brochures arrive in a colour nobody chose. Once it is printed, it is printed.
Because our production is in-house, that handover does not exist. Files are prepared correctly for the chosen press and substrate, colour is proofed on the actual stock, and someone from the design team signs off at the press rather than by email.
The designer supplies files in the wrong colour space. The printer adjusts something without telling anybody. The proof is approved on a screen. Eight thousand brochures arrive in a colour nobody chose, and the two suppliers each explain why it was the other's fault.
Because design and offset production are in the same business here, that handover does not exist. The person who designed it signs off at the press.
The same file prints differently on coated art paper, uncoated board and recycled stock. Approving a digital proof on a screen or on a different substrate is the most common cause of a colour dispute after delivery.
For anything where colour matters we proof on the specified stock. It adds a day and removes the risk of reprinting a full run.
Offset becomes cheaper than digital somewhere in the low thousands, depending on size, colours and finishing. Below that threshold, digital is faster and cheaper and we will recommend it even though the offset press is ours.
The same applies to finishing. Spot UV, foil, emboss and special substrates are worth it where they do a job (a business card that has to signal a price point, a pack that has to compete on a premium shelf) and are money wasted on a flyer.
Print economics reward slightly overordering. The setup cost is fixed, so the marginal cost of the last thousand is small, and running short means paying the setup again for a short run at a poor rate.
We advise on run length against your actual usage rate and shelf life, and we will tell you when you are ordering more than you will use before the information on it goes out of date.
Call, WhatsApp or email. You will get a straight answer about offset printing & production — including whether you actually need it.
Every engagement is scoped in writing before work starts, so you know exactly what is being delivered and when.
Imposition, trapping, separations and colour management handled properly.
Digital and wet proofs on the actual stock, not approved from a screen.
Commercial runs across brochures, catalogues, packaging and publications.
Lamination, UV, foil, emboss, die-cut, binding and specials.
Packing, dispatch and multi-location distribution.
Scopes are written down, reporting is monthly, and the accounts stay in your name. Ask for a reference in your sector before you commit to anything.
We measure where you are today and write down the numbers the work will be judged on.
Every recommendation gets an expected outcome, an owner and a date.
Production happens in-house, so the plan that was approved is the plan that ships.
Monthly reporting in plain language, with the misses named as clearly as the wins.
Strategy, creative, media, web and print sit in the same office. Nothing is lost in a handover between three suppliers who each blame the other.
You get a document listing deliverables and dates before work starts, so 'in progress' always means something specific.
Ad accounts, analytics, domain, extranets and source files stay in your name. We are given access; we never become the owner.
Monthly reporting in plain language, with the misses named as clearly as the wins, and next month's changes agreed before it starts.
The person who scoped your work is the person doing it. No rotating bench of juniors learning on your budget.
Head office in Thrissur, branch office in New Delhi, so North and South accounts both get people in the same time zone and, when it matters, in the room.
Monthly engagements with a notice period, not annual contracts. If we are not earning the retainer you should be able to leave.
The briefs we are asked for most often under this service. If yours is not listed, describe it in the form — the answer is usually yes.
Offset becomes cheaper than digital in the low thousands, depending on size and colours. Below that we will recommend digital rather than push you into a process that costs you more.
Yes. We pre-flight them and tell you about problems before printing rather than after.
Typically five to ten working days from approved artwork, depending on quantity and finishing. Rush schedules are possible and quoted separately.
